🎯 1. Make It Dynamic Use dynamic QR codes whenever possible. You can update the destination (URL or file) without reprinting the code. Example: Change your QR from a "Sign Up" link to a "Thank You" page once a campaign ends.
🎨 2. Brand It Beautifully Add your logo and brand colors to increase trust. Contrast is Key: Ensure the QR pattern is dark, and the background is light for the best scannability. Avoid over-designing—readability always beats style!
📐 3. Size Matters Close-up: Minimum size should be 2 × 2 cm (0.8 × 0.8 in). Distance: For posters, use the "1:10" rule—1 inch of QR code for every 10 feet of scanning distance.
🧩 4. Use the Right Type Pick the type that fits your goal: URL: For websites or landing pages. vCard: To share contact details instantly. Wi-Fi: To let users join your network without typing passwords. Location: To share map coordinates for stores or events. UPI: To share your UPI Payment link. etc...
📊 5. Track and Learn Check your analytics regularly to: Identify peak scanning times. Find your best-performing designs or locations. Improve your next marketing campaign.
🔄 6. Update Without Reprinting Instead of generating new codes, edit your existing dynamic ones. This is ideal for rotating menus, seasonal promos, or recurring events.
🧠 7. Add a Clear Call to Action (CTA) People scan more when they know why. Add short instructions like: "Scan for 20% off" "Scan to see our menu" "Scan to follow us on Instagram"
🧾 8. Test Before You Launch Always test with multiple devices (iPhone and Android) and different scanning apps. Ensure the landing page is mobile-friendly.
🧍 9. Keep It Simple & Scannable Avoid busy backgrounds. Keep the "quiet zone" (the white margin around the code) clear so scanners can recognize it. Use high-resolution formats like SVG or PDF for professional printing.
